The start of a rough night, or the wake up call to the fact that poker is a rough game?
Well, that was nothing. 9 hours later, I'm sat with a fraction of my bankroll left, and everything I told myself to prevent this happening only adds to the mental, and financial, burden.

Time to start again. Time to realise that poker is actually a useful source of income, something that I could do with right about now. So here I am, at FullTilt's smallest stakes - .05/.10 - trying to climb back up a very slippery slope. In practicality, I should be sat at micro stakes (0.01/0.02), but as a Mac user, I'm limited in my choices of game. BootCamp? It's a consideration at the moment, and nothing more.

That's where this blog comes in. Not only does it allow critique of play from you, the reader, it also gives me the chance to monitor my own plays, and inevitably increase my standard of poker. Following this introductory post will be hands that I feel I would benefit from feedback on.

That pretty much concludes my short introduction.
Until next time, thanks for taking the time to see this, and hopefully you'll pop back soon,
